I love the different kinds of picanha here! I recommend picanha to the ones who love a good portion of fat with their meat. I love it when the fat has a crisp to it and the meat is medium raw. That's what I call good eating! My other dinner companions preferred leaner meat with less fat. We all enjoyed ourselves and had a lot to eat. I filled up my plate with all the different picanha and rice. My favorite picanha was the spicy one, and the least favorite was garlic, although I'd still have it, but not as much as the other picanha. My dinner companions enjoyed the cheese bread and caramelized banana as sides to their meats. We all preferred mostly beef. The least favorite across the board was chicken. A cheesecake at the end was a good way to end dinner. And oh, get strawberry caipirinha to drink

The hostess knew it was my birthday as did the waitress and was greeted as such which brought smiles on my face. The salad bar was huge with too many items to mention. Not only lovely to listen at but filled with so maybe fresh items from soup to asparagus! We started as they opened and although there were not many in the restaurant but the crew got bigger as we ate. The bar was busy with a group of men who were all friends and enjoyed each other's company. The men that served the meat were delightful and understood that 2 of them wanted medium rare while 1 wanted well done and served us accordingly. I became very full and had to stop. My favorites were the sausage and beef ribs. Now my son and husband ate like there was no tomorrow. And enjoyed everything morsel. They place on the table mashed potatoes and platons my spelling is awful. Any way waitress was kind enough to take our picture and it came out perfect. The night ended and ventured home very happy and full!!! Anxious to return!!!

Texas de Brazil has become one of our spots to celebrate birthdays or to just get out of the house and enjoy a good salad. A lot of people were hanging out by the entrance when we arrived and the parking lot was packed but handicap spots were available. Our party was already seated when we arrived so the friendly hostess greeted us and we went directly to the table. Waitress came over right away to get our drink order. I opted for the dragonfruit margarita which was limited time. It was absolutely delicious. I then proceeded to the salad bar with an array of choices from prosciutto, shrimp, salmon, etc. The chimicurri sauce paired well with the all you can eat grilled meats carved tableside. The Parmesan chicken was deliciously juicy, lamb was dry and the flank steak was perfection. Some of the meats were seasoned with a bit too much salt. The flan with ice cream was a sweet treat to end our dinner along with Amarula cream liqueur our waitress was enthusiastic about. The liqueur was a bit more potent than Baileys or Irish run cream so I poured some of it over the flan and ice cream to give it a little razzle dazzle. Overall dinner was a success and the service was top notch. Until the next celebration!

This is my 3rd Rodizio in a month. Went to Fogo De Chao, Chima and now Texas. Fogo was #1 for me, but after this last night. I will say Texas had better flavor in their meats. I have to say Chima had the best service from the 3. I would definitely come again to Texas. The Salad Bar was better at Chima then Fogo then Texas.

Four of us met here for dinner recently, and we had an exceptional dining experience from end-to-end! All of us being meat-lovers, we found the variety of juicy and succulent meats and steaks delicious and delightful. Without a request to the contrary, they bring most of the cuts done either medium or medium-well. That said, one of our number likes their meat well-done, and our servers had no problem accommodating his preference :-) Service is excellent - all the staffers were attentive, polite, and expert. They provide a small "stop/go" disc to allow diners to control the flow of meat offerings. By default, the gauchos will stop at your table as they stroll by with their offerings on skewers, but if you flip the disk to the "Red/Stop" side, they'll give you time to eat what you have without offering new cuts of meat. The ambiance is clean and classy. My only complaint is that the experience would be augmented if the tables were a bit bigger, as a couple of plates for each diner starts to get pretty crowded in short order. To sum it all up, this place provides a great meal for true Carnivores. While it's by no means inexpensive, the dining experience is exceptional and worth every penny :-)
